The design factor of HTC One M7 follows the same HTC One design tradition. With full metal uni-body design, this smartphone is very decent and very premium look. However, for some, this design could be boring design. The HTC One M7 has 137.4×68.2×9.3mm body dimension.
The weight of the device is 143 Gram and 9.3mm thick, which is very good to hold in your hand. However, you will get slimmer devices in this budget segment. The capacitive of the device has two keys, “Back” and “Home” which is located on the display of the phone.
The display of the device has 4.7 inches with full HD 1080p, 468 PPI. The display type is Super LCD3; the touch is very responsive that supports multi-touch as well. The display is very sharp and crispy with 469 PPI density.
It has the speed of Qualcomm Snapdragon 600, quad-core, 1.7HGz. HTC One M7 has 32gb/64gb internal memory variants; both variants has 2GB of RAM for juicing your apps or multitasking. This device platform is powered by Android with HTC Sense and HTC blink feed on the device and operated by Android Jelly Bean, which is upgradable to Android Lollipop.
This device has total storage facility up to 32GB /64GB which is available on the device along with 2GB DDR2 RAM on the phone. There is no memory expansion slot in HTC One M7.
It has the facility of 2G GSM /GPRS/EDGE that is 850/900/1800/1900 MHz. And also it has UMTS/HSPA, 3G CDMA, and 4G LTE networking support.
It has battery life up to 2,300mAh Li-Po. HTC claim that this device can juice up to 27 hours in 2G mode and 18 hours in 3G mode.
The rear camera has 4.0 megapixels, 2.0 cameras with anti-focus, Ultra pixel BSI image sensor, smart LED flash, F2.0 aperture, 28mm lens, dedicated imaging chip, continuous shooting, 1° optical images stabilization. With this device, you can watch HD video for up to 1080p, along with video stabilization, slow-motion video capture (768×432 pixels), HDR video recording.
HTC one m7 has a connectivity of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth: 4.0 with aptX, DLNA and it also have Wi-Fi direct connection and hotspot. It also has an infrared connection with USB 2.0 micro-B port, USB charging and on the go. It also has wireless HDMI 3.5 millimeters (0.14 in) TRRS and FM radio.
Pros of HTC one m7
As you know, that HTC one is the most amazing phone but even though it has many pros and cons like all Smartphone does. Let us see the pros first.
- It has two speakers which are located on top of the device and bottom of the device as well, which is great to listen to music loud and clear on the phone, which it makes ideal for watching movies without headphones as it has Dre Beats inbuilt on the device.
- The body is made of unibody aluminum design, which makes the user feel like the premium on their hand. This is not like any other cheap plastic phones.
- The rear camera provides for 300% more light with good quality of pictures, and 2 megapixels of the front camera gives wide-angle.
- The FM radio on the device does not suck up the data charges as it has a non-streaming type.
Cons of HTC one m7
HTC one m7 a feature which is called as Blink Feed that annoys many users, even though they try hard to get rid of it, but they can only hide this feature from the phone. There are many complaints about this phone from the users like as it has the uni-body aluminum it will draw the heat away from the processor in order to prevent overheating.
This device does not support SD card, and the battery is not removable as it has the facility on other Smartphone device.
